P-101Project types

Five kinds of project. All planned, none on call.

We do not run emergency service. That keeps one crew on your job from the first cut to the final inspection.

  • Whole-home repipePEX-A or Type L copper

New hot and cold supply from the main shutoff to every fixture. New quarter-turn stops. Access openings patched and ready for paint.

3–5 days Water restored each evening
  • Tankless water heater conversionGas or electric, with or without recirculation

Old tank drained and hauled off. Gas line, venting and condensate drain sized to the new unit. Isolation valves fitted for yearly flushing.

1–2 days Hot water back the same day on most jobs
  • Bathroom and kitchen rough-inFor remodels and additions

Supply, drain and vent set to your drawings. Shower valves set to finished wall depth. Separate visits for rough-in, top-out and trim.

2–4 days per room Booked around framing and tile dates
  • Sewer line replacementTrenchless pipe bursting

Camera inspection first, with the video sent to you. Two access pits, new pipe pulled along the old line, new cleanout at the house.

1–2 days Drains out of use during working hours
  • Water filtration systemsWhole-house filters and softeners

Water tested before we recommend anything. Equipment sized to the test results, plumbed with a bypass so you can service it without shutting off the house.

Half a day to 1 day Water off for about 2 hours

Durations are sample values for this demo. A real proposal states the duration for your house.

P-201Process

The same five steps on every job.

Each step ends with something in your hands, so you always know where the project stands.

  1. Site walk

We walk the house with you, open access panels, photograph the existing piping and measure the runs. Allow about an hour.

    You get
Photo notes of what we found
  2. Written fixed-price proposal

Scope, exclusions, one price and a start window. The price holds unless you change the scope.

    You get
    The proposal as a PDF
  3. Permit

We file the plumbing permit with the city and book the inspection slots. You do not need to visit the permit counter.

    You get
    Permit number and dates
  4. Install

One crew, start to finish. Floors covered, work areas swept daily, and a pressure test before any wall closes.

    You get
A daily note and the test photo
  5. Inspection and walkthrough

We meet the inspector. Then we show you every shutoff and how to use it.

    You get
Signed permit card and warranty letter

P-301Proposal

What's in a proposal

One document you can hand to a lender, a designer or another plumber for comparison.

  • Scope, line by line

Each line is a piece of work you can check off when it is done.

  • Exclusions in writing

What the price leaves out, so nothing turns up later as an extra.

  • One fixed price

Labor, materials, permit fee and haul-away in a single number.

  • A start window

A two-week window when you sign. An exact date once the permit is issued.

For contractors and designers

We work as the plumbing sub on remodels and additions. You send the drawing set. We price it, schedule it and build it to your sheets.

Send drawings for pricing

Scheduling
Give us your framing and inspection dates. We commit to rough-in, top-out and trim dates in writing and keep them.
Rough-in to your drawings
Valves, drains and stub-outs go where your sheets put them. We flag conflicts with framing or ducts before we cut.
Inspection coordination
We pull the plumbing permit, book each inspection and meet the inspector on site.
One point of contact
Maya runs every contractor job. One phone number, and a reply the same working day.

P-501Materials

Materials and standards

Most of our repipes use both materials. Each goes where it does its job best.

PEX-A

Flexible cross-linked polyethylene tubing, joined with expansion fittings. It bends around framing, so a repipe needs fewer joints inside the walls and smaller access openings.

We use it
Trunks and branches inside walls, floors and ceilings
We avoid it
Outdoors and anywhere sunlight reaches the pipe

Type L copper

Rigid, straight and able to carry its own weight. We solder or press it depending on access. A repipe priced as PEX-A still gets copper at every stub-out, so each shutoff has something solid behind it.

We use it
Exposed runs, water heater connections, stub-outs, outdoor piping
We avoid it
Long concealed runs where every joint means opening a wall

Pressure test before walls close

Before insulation or drywall goes back, we cap the new piping, pressurize it and leave a gauge on the line. The inspector reads the gauge at rough-in. You get a dated photo of it with your closeout papers.
